We've made our little plan
Just like many times before
Which never seemed to manage
To come together right

Now we've reconnected again
And had our little pre-meeting
Exchange just like before
Which has me excited and waiting

I'm looking forward to seeing you
Quivering with anticipation
But after so many fail attempts
Do I dare?

Do I dare trust that this time
Things will be different
And we will actually see each other
After all this time we couldn't?

Do I dare get up my hope
That after the years
Which have been like torture
I will hear your voice again?

I'm so afraid of being disappointed
But this is too tempting to pass up
So I ask myself again and again
