Moving out with two teenage boys
I feel isolated from my brothers
strangely
for it has never occurred to me before
that it should matter
if I am the only one here
who anatomically does not belong
but DNA stretches much deeper
than the dynamic make up of the body
draws imaginary lines in which I am tangled
but can never cross
for fear of failing to comply
to some code I will never know
because in the end
I am the outsider here
strangely
for it has never occurred to me before
that it should matter
if I am the only one here
who anatomically does not belong
but DNA stretches much deeper
than the dynamic make up of the body
draws imaginary lines in which I am tangled
but can never cross
for fear of failing to comply
to some code I will never know
because in the end
I am the outsider here
