Kids

As kids we wanted to grow older
it seemed like our destiny
it was all we ever wanted
no one wanted to be young
but what were we thinking

As time flew by, we realize we need to go back
The easiest of times are far behind us
and we can't do anything about it
all we can do is remember back to the past
and cherish it as if it was a lost soul
Hold on to the good times
Cause soon it will be nothing to you later on

As kids we got away with everything
stealing cookies was the only crime we thought was wrong
all it did was send us to bed without dinner
but now that life became a reality
Stealing, Smoking, Drinking, Murder
thats what we've became of
punishment grew harder as it got worst.
Please help us go back
