The ocean cries salty tears
breaking itself on jagged rocks
at the pain it suffers
but can not stop.
A seagull screams a cackling laugh,
at the pain it witnesses
choosing not to stop.

i love the detail you put into this. how long did it take you? did you observe the ocean when you were writing this?

Thanx, it took me about 3 1/2 mins to write and 5 mins or so to edit my wording just right. I was watching the break waters on the lake, not the ocean. :)
