Stranger
Better to be forgotten,
unmarked in my mind.
That strange, familiar beauty;
That brilliance which struck me blind.
Charming with grace,
filled with elegance and sophistication.
A spark of hope brought center to any thought,
but as you quickly appeared,
you faded to a dream.
A silent memory in which you hold your space.
That small,
tiny,
space.
Nothing more.
But that space does hold it's presence.
That smile you made me reciprocate.
I'll hold onto your words, a small token of favor.
You're Annabel Lee,
Sincerely,
Dissevered.
