Ashes To Ashes
The buildings crumble, and the world collapses underneath our feet.
Our calloused fingers work day and night, as we walk in the heat.
The fires burn and destroy everything. Bodies lay enflamed on the ground. Ashes to ashes we all fall down.
One by one we all die off, the death toll rises, but our money-hungry leaders laugh, and say "it's not enough" The more we work and destroy, the more they make off our labor, and celebrate with joy.
But as the ashes rain down, and pour to the floor, countless lives are taken in these fires, aching to devour more.
Soon we will all burn in the fire built on shame and greed, until all that's left is what we reap. Our hate is planted like a seed. In these flames we are bound, and we burn from ashes to ashes, untill we all fall down.
