Shallow Ashes

Once again you pushed too hard
I fell all the way down to here
Darkness tries to pull me in
But no longer do I  fear

I bared my soul
And now I bleed
Our past is dead
No longer a part of me

Shivering in the silent coldness
I am all alone and low
Buried deep in shallow ashes
By you who was once my hero

Enchanted by your voodoo
I scream out your name
My tomb...you've vaulted tight
Left to die with wounded pain
