in all my old i never learned to reed or rite good
all i ever do was follow fate like i should
i doesn't enjoy reading writing or schooling
i enjoy a good times with the guys fooling
today i was sipping on the farm from a cup
saw a shiny pen there and so i picked it up

Instantly gifted, my mind shifted; drastically improved
Urges bubbled from my fingertips, they had to be removed
I felt filled and jolted so from my farm field I bolted
The fruit of my mind more urgent than the yield I noted
As I sprinted, I noticed the shiny pen once more
How could I want more? It pulled me to the front door
I scrambled for a note pad, ha! No longer did I 'wrote bad'
With my newfound intellect I dropped it like an old fad
Generating intricate phrases of intimate places
The pen slipped from my grasp and fell into the spaces
And when the pen hit the floor, my mind went blank
i got nervous......what's going on here.....i cant thank
i reached down and...... I got a rush of adrenaline
Revitalized like medicine now I had the pen again
In a burst it glowed and countless verses flowed
Made each and all words precise like a surgeons code
Wrote quicker than the fastest beast and at the last release
I looked down upon the magnificent masterpiece
Radiant pride at the perfect poem, all mine to claim
But I realized my hand refused to sign my name
I tried to cease the actions; the moment was gone though
All credit for the poem was given to Dono
A name I knew well, a great poet of past ages
Must have possessed my body to write his last pages
A dead being feeding my power like rabid vultures
No! I must discard my ragged culture of agriculture
Even as I thought, the ideas left, no coming back
The pen dropped from my hand down a floorboard crack

i waked up feeling funny and a bit odd
then i see'd a poem that looked writ by god
shoot in all my old i never learned to reed or rite good
