Breath exhaled
Breath exhaled, expelled, extinguished
Light sparked, swelled, diminished
Sounds crescendo, then muffle silent
Tensed taut cadaver contorted
Releasing soul, it had aborted
Sensations swell, aspirated
As I rose above my body
Traveled through a hollow passage
To the other side…
