Would You?

Would you bring my heart at ease like the summer breeze?
Would you still be here when others leave?
Would you let me fall back on you when everybody falls back on me?
Would you be able to stay strong when I collapse, I'm down and weak?
Would you cherish every moment and hold me when I'm sound asleep?
If I disappear would you wait?, count the days, count the weeks,
Would you keep searchin' when everyone gives up or let us become distanced with time?
Would you kiss me "It'll be fine" when I seem distanced in mind?
Would you respect my diary if I left it open?
Would you read it and let our trust be broken?
Would you stay up if I didn't come home-at-night?
Would you leave if I was broke and you became rich over-night?
Would you hate me if I never said how I felt, I just wanna write?
Would try amend things if you felt we're nearly two worlds apart?
Would you believe me if I told you "you're beautiful like poetry, that's why I keep you close at heart"?
