i pity you, at last
i pity you, at last
my estranged man
but do confess
that each morning
i awaken with a prayer
upon my lips that God
looks mercifully upon you
and gives you happiness
health and success
i pity you, at last
my estranged man
and yet in the midst
of all of the hell
i find myself entombed
in being at your side
still i wish for you
every good thing
i would want for myself
my estranged man
but do confess
that each morning
i awaken with a prayer
upon my lips that God
looks mercifully upon you
and gives you happiness
health and success
i pity you, at last
my estranged man
and yet in the midst
of all of the hell
i find myself entombed
in being at your side
still i wish for you
every good thing
i would want for myself
