One should always have hope and in that is the comfort.  It is just a state of mind.

If that truly is the case--knowing that one's ultimate destination will never be reached,and in accepting this fact--then what is the meaning in this...should this futility bring us joy,(comfort) or despair (discontent)?

(then, what is the purpose of Life's journey?...)

Maybe it's not so much about what awaits us at the end,but more about how we live our lives along our own pathways...how we deal with the challenges.....(IMHO--anyhow)

Profound thought. Myself - I hope I never reach my horizon. It gives me a reason to keep going - and I think there's a cliff at the end, lol.

just to let you all know: I find comfort in that thought, knowing that I will evolve with every step of the journey.. ;-)
