Rain Drops

Trillions of thoughts, billions of emotion,
millions of rain drops forming an ocean,
Falling to the ground, falling all around,
Drip drop, drip drop, they now surround,

Ray of light, perception of the mind,
Cutting through drops, something to find,
Shimmering back they reflect what is seen,
Each little drop, holding something serene,

Splish splash, splish splash, they now clash,
Forcing a memory they whip, striking a lash,
A premonition of future, a vision of past,
Each little drop holding a world so vast,

They fall and they fall, not ever ending,
As you look into each drop, your life pending,
Single drop causing love to anger, sorrow to bliss,
As your cloudy mind swirls, thinking of what you miss,

Each drop a diamond, each drop a thought,
Each drop an emotion now forever caught,
Each drop a want, each drop is your tears,
Each drop is that special someone who now disappears.
