the Quandary of love
Beat me black and blue,
I once had love for you.
When you crushed my heart, you tore it apart
Now it’s like ice, you threw the dice, and now it won’t suffice
We used to go together, I thought it was forever
As a Goth I was like a moth, I followed the light and it shone bright.
But as it fades, it becomes a haze.
And in this fight we made our plight.
