In My Dreams-A Found Poem
In my dreams,
I hear the train in my mind
The years have gone by,
I have heard it over and over again.
The train, the stadium, the camp.
I cannot forget this life, what my story is,
I thought I could change, but
How can I pretend I am someone else?
They don't know who I am, they know nothing.
There is nothing left for me.
My scars will never heal.
Sometimes, I want to die.
(Random phrases from the notebook entries; pages 259-261 of the novel Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay-Redrafted)
