Everything Happens For a Reason!

Just when you rack your brains asking why
It should strike you quick, makes you sigh..
It may take a days, a month or a season
But remember, everything happens for a reason

Life, with all its sorrow and pain
Can oftentimes be a hard test..
But one should never worry too much
As everything happens for the best

The troubles and tensions of this hard life
Surely cannot be for the best, you say..
Happiness and joy and peace i need
And for all this i daily pray

Everything happens for a reason
Nothing happens by chance or good luck
Illness, injury, love, and decision
Sheer stupidity to test your soul

However, it is not for us to understand
The ways of god's great plan..
Just believe and trust in him forever
And do the best you can

Things will surely improve over time
And while it may not seem so today..
These hard days are required indeed
To move ahead and forge our way

We are thinking just of today
Or at the very most the next week..
While the master planner up above
Is planning the entire life we seek

And if you only take a good look
At your life each and every day..
The good lord gives us happiness too
With the pain that comes our way
