Saturn
Tell me I'm pretty
Tell me that I'm sweet
tell me anything
talk me off this ledge
back down to the street
metaphorically,
I would never dream
a selfish exit
always seemed to me
a little too mean.
but my heads not right
can't break the pattern
want to reach to you
you're so far off you
could be on Saturn.
time to stop dreaming
of anything ever after.
Now would be the time
to come on over
I'm thinking too much
a little too alone
and much too sober.
I know the answer
has to be in me
but tonight I hurt
how could I put it
any more plainly
see my heads not right
can't break the pattern
want to reach to you
you're so far off you
could be on Saturn.
time to stop dreaming
of anything ever after.
best I ever had
doesn't cover it
I can't think like that
but I can't change it
it doesn't transmit.
cause my heads not right
can't break the pattern
want to reach to you
you're so far off you
could be on Saturn.
time to stop dreaming
of anything ever after.
Tell me that I'm sweet
tell me anything
talk me off this ledge
