Success through Forgiveness

People hurt for many years
Their face is wet from all the tears
They have been hurt by many others
Pain, Regret, and Sorrow it often smothers
The real potential that lies within
The Grace of God that will help them win
God is willing to forgive and forget
But many suffer because they have not seen this yet
Day after day they keep getting knocked down
Beneath their smiles there is a frown
The do not want to hurt any longer
They wish that they could be much stronger
They have good intentions, to do their best
They are tired of suffering and really want rest
They ride the roller coast of tremendous pain
They are surrounded by sunshine but only see rain
They forgive others and have a tender heart
They convince themselves that they are not smart
Our hearts are deceitful, wicked and vain
The longer we believe it the longer the pain
We must not forget that our God is loving and kind
He wants us to have victory deep in our mind
This is the battle field where it really takes place
Satan always reminds of our sin and disgrace
He never reminds us of God true greatness
He never reminds us of the power of forgiveness
We are all sinners and shall be till the end
We must put our faith and trust in the Lord then healing He’ll send
The true secret to the fruits of the Spirit is to ask for grace to Forgive
Forgive and be forgiven is the best way to live
We must confess to God I have sinned against thee
It is not others, Lord it is me
Once we have confessed and praised Him for His Greatness
We must turn and take the next step and grant our self forgiveness
Forgiving yourself not matter how great your scar
Will take you to new heights in life and get you very far
God is loving faithful, merciful, and kind
Let Him rule your heart and have what you are longing for “Peace of Mind”
