Morning's Without You

Morning's without you
well they're morning's without you.
Take my dog on a walk
try not to think about you.
but, I do, I do, I do.

Still don't smoke cigarettes
but partake in Mary-Jane.
I still like those TV shows
and staying in bed when it rains.

I drink out with your friends
and dance until I can't walk.
I go home with somebody new
and I make sure we don't talk.

Talking leads to feeling
and we saw where that left me.
Walking to my car while you
went back into the party.

Morning's without you
well they're morning's without you.
Pour myself some coffee
try not to think about you.
but, I do, I do, I do.

I still think you're funny
your jokes still make me laugh
but feeling like one of them
can't wash that off in a bath.

I kept it together
when I saw you a week ago
hugged you like I felt breezy
you sure ran off fast though

do you still feel guilty?
hope I don't weigh on your mind
but kind of hope that I do
somehow at the same time.

Morning's without you
well they're morning's without you.
Drag a brush through my hair
try not to think about you.
but, I do, I do, I do.

Morning's without me,
how are morning's without me?
do you open your eyes
miss what you used to see
when it was me?

Morning's without you
Well they're morning's without you
I close my eyes real tight
try not to think about you
but I do, I do, I do.

Do you ever think of me too?
