Today Is

 This grey
surrounds me sinking
the titanic feeling
I can feel the clawing
demons, preying
cold hands
despair the day
Can you not hear me
screaming in this cage
"Let me out, let me out"
Paints a pretty picture
this, gut wrenching fear
of a future
Not far from here
when times
are surely better
I will fly
Not today though
it's too dark
and far too cold
