You were the person i looked up to
My perfect ideal
But then you went and spoiled it all
When you relied on me
And i found you weren't perfect

You were the person i trusted
Beyond anyone else
But then you betrayed me
and blamed me
For your own faults

You were jealous of my idol
So you poisoned it with truth
So entwined with lies
That i only knew one thing
The true nature of you

So you consume my self worth
To inflate your own pride
You live of my acheivements
And leave no satisfaction for myself
