Enough Is Enough
Waves carry dead souls like air carries screams of anguish
Frontlines crash into the beach, The air filled with lead and prayers
Clouds cover the skies, Even the gods dare not witness this
As the ground opens up and welcomes its new guests home
Men killing men with no choice of turning back
Showers of red and suddenly the world turns black
Fearless cowards push forward to endlessly attack
Tripping over wires and dead men in noiseless stacks
Lives are ended as silence is ended with rebel yells
Sand tables become sand castles and men become ants
A child’s game, A soldier’s change, He’ll never be the same
A greedy landfill, Stacks of dollars on stacks of noiseless heroes
When does enough become enough
When lives like candles are snuffed
Cemeteries and churches are stuffed
Graves fill the ground like hopeless cries fill the air
Money earned stashed away for the next battle
Children led to the slaughter like blind cattle
Fighting over what’s fair, All we can do is cry and stare

Fighting over what’s fair, All we can do is cry and stare
