Would you like to see my wood?
(Inspired by Amanecio's poem, My First Public Wood. When I learned what the word in that sense meant I thought this up how it would make a proposition.)
Country lads that are up to no good
May ask lasses, “Want to see my wood?”
Wise girls will not go with such lads alone:
They’re showing what’s sometimes called a ‘bone’.
It’s a propositional trick
To show the unwary lass his ‘dick’.
Such talk, suggestive of shady glades,
Is a ruse to deceive naive maids.
Instead of some green leaved forestry,
One leafless flesh trunk is all they’ll see,
That’s surrounded by a bush of hair
Where they should be wearing underwear,
And may be about to shed its seed
If the lass consents to meet his ‘need’.
I counsel, stay clear of such a bloke
Who wants to show off his “mighty oak”!
