Just because I am goth doesn't mean I want to hurt people
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I worship Satan
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I sacrifice animals
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I hate my parents
Just because I am goth doesn't mean my parents hate me
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I am failing classes
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I drink
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I do drugs
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I am going to Hell
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I never leave my room
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I want to be a vampire
Just because I am goth doesn't mean I steal
I am goth means you stole from me
My sense of belonging, safety, and trust
I am goth means people don't understand
That is why I am writing this
To let you know
