The Natural Habitat of Consequences
Far flung from a hideaway
Footprints that lead fools astray
Are the deepest of regrets
And the snow would never dare
Cover up the tracks
Till I came about
Must have been something in the air
Tell me,
Do I seem to carry
A dark cloud
By a leash?
Or better yet
Does it seem the dark cloud
Is in the lead?
Trust never took into consideration
The reality of a mistake
Unavoidable
A Wide Mouthed Crow
Mocking
Stalking
And while I feel
The guilt
He makes his way
To another town
And the cycle
Repeats
Footprints that lead fools astray
Are the deepest of regrets
And the snow would never dare
Cover up the tracks
Till I came about
Must have been something in the air
Tell me,
Do I seem to carry
A dark cloud
By a leash?
Or better yet
Does it seem the dark cloud
Is in the lead?
Trust never took into consideration
The reality of a mistake
Unavoidable
A Wide Mouthed Crow
Mocking
Stalking
And while I feel
The guilt
He makes his way
To another town
And the cycle
Repeats
