hiding under cover of skin
under cover of pride
nagging, pulling
fighting to escape
tears overstocked
kept in, too, by pride
ready to release
but no such relief
overwhelming in strength
a longing for
the unattainable at best
at most a wish
destined to remain one
oh well

at times it seems that way forever, but day breaks eventually...a dark write indeed, pen excellence!!!
