Ignore The World.
I took in the blistering sun,
And the soft whispered wind.
Watched numbly as the leaves flew,
And the grass fingers blew.
Just sit outside,
My back slowly reddening,
Perhaps burning.
My head in the turning clouds,
Thoughts and ideas continuously spinning.
Ignore the world,
So focused on mine.
I can see reality through the broken mirror,
A deceiving fantasy.
Pain and misery reflecting on shards.
Stuck watching from afar.
Like a star in the midnight sky,
Frozen,
And forever miles away.
Only to watch the mistakes made,
And the horrors created.
Maybe I'll fall,
Maybe someone will close their eyes and make a wish.
And the soft whispered wind.
Watched numbly as the leaves flew,
And the grass fingers blew.
Just sit outside,
My back slowly reddening,
Perhaps burning.
My head in the turning clouds,
Thoughts and ideas continuously spinning.
Ignore the world,
So focused on mine.
I can see reality through the broken mirror,
A deceiving fantasy.
Pain and misery reflecting on shards.
Stuck watching from afar.
Like a star in the midnight sky,
Frozen,
And forever miles away.
Only to watch the mistakes made,
And the horrors created.
Maybe I'll fall,
Maybe someone will close their eyes and make a wish.
