moths and butterflies.
the difference between
moths and butterflies
is the fact that butterflies
are a symbol of dreams
and moths are attracted
to nothing but flames.
wings will catch fire;
dreams burning to ashes,
and slowly they fall
to unforgiving grounds,
a cold concrete death-
written in stone forever ago.
someday we'll learn
not to play with fire-
the dangers spread like wildfire
unable to be stopped
destruction in it's wake-
awaiting for a time
when life can be reborn
again.
