Nothing
Love
like it was
an addiction.
The first
kiss,
the last
fuck
goodbye;
chasing euphoria.
Empty
bottles of smiles,
hearts
splattered over the wall,
poems
dripping on the hardwood
floor.
Lungs stained
black,
inhaling toxic lies,
trapped
in this life.
One drink
too many,
words spilling
over
the edge of insanity;
to take the leap
of faith,
or nothing?
like it was
an addiction.
The first
kiss,
the last
fuck
goodbye;
chasing euphoria.
Empty
bottles of smiles,
hearts
splattered over the wall,
poems
dripping on the hardwood
floor.
Lungs stained
black,
inhaling toxic lies,
trapped
in this life.
One drink
too many,
words spilling
over
the edge of insanity;
to take the leap
of faith,
or nothing?
