A Kids Imagination

Standing in the fields by the water
The sun shining down from the heavens
A day like today there is no other
The wind softly singing through the trees
The birds flapping by through rays
The gentle buzzing of bees
I see my reflection as I walk up to the edge
Staring at myself as tears fall like rain
The next minute I'm falling from the ledge
Grabbing for anything at that second in vain
As I open my eyes to the earth floating
and I'm floating next to a ship in my suit
The tears are gone and I'm happy at peace
My mission to stop an asteroid coming from the east
The asteroid flying by as I try to stop it
Close my eyes for the impact and open them
I'm the military man fighting with my men
We will defeat all evil in the world
Everyone will be happy and love me
An awesome hero is all they will see
Open my eyes again as I'm riding my horse
With my cowboy hat and my gun
Being the fastest gun in the west could be fun
As I ride through the town and everyone stares in awe
The coolest and most loyal cowboy they ever saw
"Is it raining?"
Flash to myself running from dinosaurs
The strongest hunter in the clan
I gather the food like a true man
and fight off the evil dinosaurs
Lava shoots out from volcanoes from the core
I'm flying my fighter plane now
Flying through the skies as free as I can
I never have a reason to come down and land
I'm all alone and can go anywhere
Where no people are there
"What's that ringing noise?"
Where no people will call me names
and my parents still want me around
I can't hear any sounds
I open my eyes
To see the sun reflecting down
Through water and slowly fading away
"I'm sorry I'm not a superhero..
I'm sorry I couldn't make everyone happy..
