The Carousel
She spins on a carousel
Surrounded by barbed wire
Eating cotton candy made of glass shards
And she smiles
Gums bleeding profusely
Yelling for the conductor to push it
Faster and faster
And she laughs
Harder and harder
As the blood squirts from her gums
Further and further
Till it forms a puddle by the waiting line
Where the kids can stomp through it
Like a rainy day get away
In fact
The faster the ride twirls
And the more the blood squirts
It spins
Around and around
Like a tornado
Which only makes her laugh even harder!
My god it looks like fun
The vicious circle turned humorous
A nightmare we could sit and eat popcorn too
And I wish I could enjoy life like she does
Smiling, with my gums bleeding
Surrounded by barbed wire
Eating cotton candy made of glass shards
And she smiles
Gums bleeding profusely
Yelling for the conductor to push it
Faster and faster
And she laughs
Harder and harder
As the blood squirts from her gums
Further and further
Till it forms a puddle by the waiting line
Where the kids can stomp through it
Like a rainy day get away
In fact
The faster the ride twirls
And the more the blood squirts
It spins
Around and around
Like a tornado
Which only makes her laugh even harder!
My god it looks like fun
The vicious circle turned humorous
A nightmare we could sit and eat popcorn too
And I wish I could enjoy life like she does
Smiling, with my gums bleeding
