shouts of joy
spills, and chills, and all...
the rowdy laughter...
he'd brought the house
down nightly
yeah he was IT...

I don't know a Joe personally, this was just based on people
knew as a teen who were in various stages of addiction n some of the very funny or talented in other ways.

Humor is never found in any addiction, for there is an addict at the end who is lost and can't be found unless he or she wants to.

I don't know if you saw the poem about meth that I wrote. The young lawyer in the second part was one of the most upbeat, motivating, funny, sexy and talented men I have had the pleasure to meet. This poem says it all...
