I’ve been waiting for you for a long time. Asking and praying. Crying and sulking. Many have stepped forward claiming to be you. Pretending to love me. Talking like they will always be there. Leaving me in the dark to chase the dark. I’m glad to not have given up. Because you’re the one I’ve been praying for. Wishing for.Crying for. It was you all along but I had to wait. I had to experience the pain before the pleasure. The hurt before the joy. My heart aches for you. Not because you left me or disappointed me. But because I’m grateful to have finally met you.
