Might as welll move on
And forget something that meant so much
At one point in life
Time so fleeting
Has passed us by
Without a second glance
Not making, inviting second chances.

For those who have managed to last
This long
Without losing what means the most
To them.
Then if they did
There'd be many more bleeding hearts
To saturate this earth's
Green fields and blue waters
To make deserts bear life
And ruin rain forests'
Ideal environment
And lush vegetation,
Reappears and transforms
To inhabit the driest regions of the world.
Fueled by a simple emotion
Meant to do good, then something went wrong
As a bleeding heart gushes and pours
For a missing part, that's lonely and mourns,
When ripped away, one from the other.
