Moving Forward
Where do I go from here?
If one door closes,
Another one will open.
Sometimes things just take time,
But I can't just sit here
And watch life pass me by.
I know what I want,
I know what I need.
But is it there waiting for me,
Just beyond the horizon?

Hello.
I like the clear message (though it's one I've heard before). It would be helpful for me, as a reader, if you explained how you went from a door to another door to a horizon. You're probably doing something symbolic that I'm missing. I just don't understand how you transition from those areas. Is the horizon the room the door opened to?

Thank you for the feedback. Pacing is something I could stand to improve upon. There is supposed to be symbolism, but I now see that I rushed a bit more than I needed to. It is something I shall be sure to work on. Again, thank you.
