Remember
How we used to say
Hello, goodbye then walk away
And every time that we’d part ways
Our Pride remained intact
Remember
When you used to stay
But be out of my reach, come the next day
You’d take my heart and walk away
And you never gave it back
Remember
That last gloomy day
I told you to go, I sent you away
I couldn’t find the right words to say
I only knew to turn my back
So remember me
As the girl before that day
The girl that didn’t cry
The girl who wouldn’t hate
The girl that would’ve found the right words to say
The girl that didn’t want you back
