creaky
swishing about in the winds
the oak tree, dark
shiney dark with streams of cold rain
standing strong outside our window
this autumn feeling
tiresome like a broken zip
had returned again to us
this year from last
brown black & damp
inside n out
in the early morning
October 2010
the pains in your head were hurting you
scaring us
whilst we silently wished for good health
younger times
my bones and guts hurt
but I say nothing
we just pull each other close
making small sounds of comfort
touching, cupping
our soft warm toes
our old feet
together, together
the oak tree, dark
shiney dark with streams of cold rain
standing strong outside our window
this autumn feeling
tiresome like a broken zip
had returned again to us
this year from last
brown black & damp
inside n out
in the early morning
October 2010
the pains in your head were hurting you
scaring us
whilst we silently wished for good health
younger times
my bones and guts hurt
but I say nothing
we just pull each other close
making small sounds of comfort
touching, cupping
our soft warm toes
our old feet
together, together
