Entangled

Leaning on
one arm
he finds himself
just viewing her,
while she is
leaning back
mid-stride
and working it
right through.

She shuts her eyes
in wanderlust
and smiles
internal
glee,
as he
leans in
and taps
her root
and shoots
into her tree.

She takes him in
and suckles at
the fountain
of his youth
and their
combining
pantomime
speaks volumes
of their truth.
