My infinite room

I sit in my room at my desk writing
wondering about the world I see.
I see it through my small window
but my heart remains inside.
At first I thought I was trapped.
Trapped in my small room.
But then it came, and I seen.
That the sunny day out in the world
was only an illusion.
it was raining, pouring, and strangely,
it was sunny inside.
I sought the answer, this was strange.
Sunny inside but outside rain.
As I paced my room,
in my mind I found the truth.
I opened the window and looked outside
expecting freedom but I found a room.
A raining room at that.
I turned around,
and then I found
that my room was open even more.
Behind me went a bright blue sky
and an open forest floor.
Inside my room, so alone, I found I was at best,
for the ones out side
lost the freedom
when they gave up.
when they lost there self,
there own thoughts,
and left there room.
In my own room, not sharing the room with others
but bringing others to see mine,
I am infinite.
There are no limits in my own room.
There are no limits in my own mind.
