Think Of Me

You know sometimes
we listen to the lies
all of the rumors
started for someone's sick humor.
we think why not?
It's not like we're hot
or smart or funny.
Why should I keep running
in this race of life
when it doesn't feel right?
No one would care
or shift a single hair
to stop it
the deep wrist slit
or the rope hang
cause no one would give a dang.
If I'm fat
or an ugly rat;
a slut or whore
who should walk out that door
and never come back.
Then why bother?
It may not even hurt my family...
but no one will see
The sick ones cause us to disappear
they find it so funny
but they aren't funny.
They're just sad
which makes me glad
that I'm nothing like them
and really don't care if I'm fat or slim.
I just want to be free
I just want to be ME.
I do't want to die
or even cry
over what they think
cause in a blink
high school's over
and you can look back
and just laugh
cause those people were so daft.
As long as you remember
that they can't hinder
your success at all.
Instead, they make you stand tall.
Your life can get better
from one word of three letters.
Someone can walk your way
and just say a friendly hey.
It won't take much
but it's important as such.
Cause with one smile
you can go for miles.
With love
you'd be happy to go above.
With a friend
Your life will not end.
Just think of others who
never truly taunt you.
Just ignore it
but not completely.
It will make you stronger
and your life therefore longer.
If nothing else think of me
a smiling face you'll always see.
