Ascend

Take me to a place
that  I am destined for.

promise, when I arrive,
 not to bolt the door.

I feel I can bound far into the sky.
As surely, as anyone as long as I try.

I will ascend...

Take me to see wonders
I've only dreamed about.
As it flourishes my soul
I scream, and shout.

Patience is hard...

 so WHEN, WHEN?

I'm only trying to be true to my soul
'Let not life' beat you down,
I've heard or been told.

I wish to ascend...

I love the image
of my child's 'happy face'
if unable to improve her life,
I'd feel such a disgrace.

So, If Financial freedom be my destiny
I been waiting a lifetime,
come to me!

I just want, I do believe,
 I feel I must...
