Built To Last
I live off a strict diet
Of lies and lullabies
Washed down with a dose of guilt
And self imposed perfection
I am choking on my dreams
During turbulent sleep
And tripping over my awaken feet
Do you not see i wasn't built to last
Like a cardboard castle binded with glue
I stand tall until the moment
Rain comes and washes away
All sanity in the flow of debrie
Do you not hear me screaming
Out through the laughter
That divides me like bigotry
Of lies and lullabies
Washed down with a dose of guilt
And self imposed perfection
I am choking on my dreams
During turbulent sleep
And tripping over my awaken feet
Do you not see i wasn't built to last
Like a cardboard castle binded with glue
I stand tall until the moment
Rain comes and washes away
All sanity in the flow of debrie
Do you not hear me screaming
Out through the laughter
That divides me like bigotry
