What's left of me?
Once there was a girl, she my friend had the world at her fingertips
She had friends who's love never went to waste
She had a family who supported her
Even through all of her mistakes
"Be warned," they all hissed "You'll be trapped after a sinful first kiss."
She didn't listen to there warning
She thought she would never be mourning
The pain and emptiness of it all
You'd be surprised just at how hard she'd be willing to fall
Slicing the bonds of her friends
She thought it would help her, but it only prepared her for the end
When things became unbarable and dark
There was no one left to call to help her through the night
Her family slowly saw that she was changing
She was rearranging her life for a boy
A mere boy
Who made her feel as unloved and used as a broken toy
Fights erupted like a volcano destroying every town in sight
She tried to be strong, but eventually she gave up the fight
Her heart slowly iced over
And her tears turned frost bitten
She begged for him to change, pleaded with him to listen
But it was all in vain, because deep down she knew he would never change
Now standing next to him, she's never felt more alone
Her once warm welcoming heart now cold and turned to stone
She's lost all she once held dear
But when you'd look at her you wouldn't think that fate
You'd see a pretty little girl, with a small bony waist
Look closer and you'll see the emptiness in her eyes
For she's run out of tears to cry.
She had friends who's love never went to waste
She had a family who supported her
Even through all of her mistakes
