I use my poetry as a form of expression and art. My poems usually tell a story about a past experience or an emotion i was feeling at the time. I'm most inspired by the people in my life and the events going on, good or bad.

So Real
Boy I'm gonna make you fall
I'm gonna make you trip out and call
Boy I'm gonna make you see
I'm gonna make you wanna be with me
You'll be ignoring other girls
Giving them the cold shoulder
That chick is a thing of the past
Done is what you told her
Irrisistable to the touch
Sugar you crave so much
Roll the dice
I'm your key to life
The past don't matter
Cause you're the one makin' my <3 go pitter patter
The future is clear
Like my image in the mirror
Every day with you is paradise
No one or thing...

While you were away
She drowned herself in sorrow
While you were away
She couldn't see tomorrow
While you were away
The salt stung her eyes
While you were away
She thought of goodbyes
While you were away
She felt her broken heart
While you were away
She fell apart
While you were away
She sat there alone
While you were away
She heard no calls to her phone
While you were away
She tried to dry her tears...

Journey to the Unknown
You make me want to live
You make me want to give
It's alright
If not only for tonight
You make me want to sing
Like no one is listening
You make me want to smile
When you hold me with no denial
With you there are no fears
With you I never feel tears
I'm a different person with you
I'm a better person if only you knew
We go to the limit and beyond
Thinking outside the pond
A future ocean wide
With you by my side
Something sweet and under-wraps
Ready to be explored
A glorious adventure perhaps...

Lost
I had a vision
It was blank
There was nothing
Not a thing to take
It blurred and faded
I was left underestimated
Dazed and confused
My days seemed so used
Also seemed numbered
Maybe less than a hundred
A life i could never imagine
Days turning into months
And months into years
Increasing my fears
Isolated and trapped
Wanting to break free
The world was not a place to be
Not a place for me
Looking back at my reflection
I can't seem to figure out
It wasn't me
And there's no doubt
...

Judging vs understanding
My flaws are bleeding fear
Every time they get near
To showing, to being exposed
Not who I would have chose
Not the person I'm supposed to be
Wish I could break free
From the plague
As we honor this flag
Let freedom ring
Success it would bring
Wanting to reveal it all
Refusing to believe
Refuse to be dull
Don't want to deceive
So much to achieve
Truth hiding behind a mask
Wondering if i should ask
Problems fade
New identities can be made
Waiting for them to go away
So I'll never have to see the day...

I'm starting to forget who I am inside
Not sure what to think or feel
Wondering if I'm even real
Finding new ways to hide
Fears still reside
Helpless in every way
Pushing through another day
