POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Just a girl with a pen. My poems are my thoughts, my fantasies, and my therapy.
Monster
Take a shot, no chaser
Drown my problems in the glass
Muffled voices, they scream and gasp
Sinking deeper than the edge of this razor
Pressed to my skin like pen to paper
I'm an open book
Just pull up my sleeve, see?
Yes, my stories are dark
But this therapy for me
This is how I cope
The others don't understand what they read
They'll never comprehend
Attention is not the reason that I bleed
I'm up at 2AM, bottle in hand, crying myself to sleep
I'm spent and broke, my pillow is soaked, and I've run out of tears to weap ...

Marlboro's
You never loved me
I never needed you
But the way you touch me
I'm not quite free from you
Its only when my bags are packed, when my mind is set
That you pull me close, holding me to your lips like a cigarette
You've lit the fire
And I'm burning
This is toxic
Yet I'm still yearning
I never needed you
But the way you touch me
I'm not quite free from you
Its only when my bags are packed, when my mind is set
That you pull me close, holding me to your lips like a cigarette
You've lit the fire
And I'm burning
This is toxic
Yet I'm still yearning

Unloved
Unrequited
Unwanted
Uninvited into you world
Leave me cold like your expression
Cut through me like the rain
Because long ago, I left you just same

Use
Warm, bare skin
Is your canvas
Paint as you like
I'm yours to bruise
I'm yours to bite
I'm yours to use
Your canvas and your muse
Is your canvas
Paint as you like
I'm yours to bruise
I'm yours to bite
I'm yours to use
Your canvas and your muse

I lay before you
Bare like a page
Waiting for you to write your mind on my body
Waiting for you to write me a thousand ways
Be the actor, let my body be the stage
Stroke by stroke, give life to this play
Bare like a page
Waiting for you to write your mind on my body
Waiting for you to write me a thousand ways
Be the actor, let my body be the stage
Stroke by stroke, give life to this play

His eyes
The amazon
His eyes the vines and the leaves
Two perfect emeralds staring back at me
The color of life, stealing my breath
As I look into his strange eyes, I'm lost in green depth
Marveling at the vivid hue
Not quite grey, not quite blue
Green yes, but something new
A color on the spectrum I never knew
I've never seen
Drowning in those pools of green
Piercing me like a knife
Only his touch brings me back to life
His eyes the vines and the leaves
Two perfect emeralds staring back at me
The color of life, stealing my breath
As I look into his strange eyes, I'm lost in green depth
Marveling at the vivid hue
Not quite grey, not quite blue
Green yes, but something new
A color on the spectrum I never knew
I've never seen

The Cellist
You run your hands over my mahogany skin
And down my spine
Looking me in the eyes as you pick me up
And ease me in between your thighs
With your cheek resting on my neck
You ready your bow
Sweet and slow
Play my body like a cello
And down my spine
Looking me in the eyes as you pick me up
And ease me in between your thighs
With your cheek resting on my neck
You ready your bow
Sweet and slow
Play my body like a cello

Coping
Wake up and
Tear me to shreds
Yesterdays old cuts sticking to the bed
Wish I could have sometime of my own
But it seems I'm never lonely when I'm alone
Got the same old voices in my head
Telling me I'm better off dead
But I wake up and put on my mask
Praying no one can see what under the cracks
Wipe away all the blood that I've bled
Dry all the tears that I've shed
What can I say
Its just another day
Of trying to keep my demons at bay
Tear me to shreds
Yesterdays old cuts sticking to the bed
Wish I could have sometime of my own
But it seems I'm never lonely when I'm alone
Got the same old voices in my head
Telling me I'm better off dead
But I wake up and put on my mask
Praying no one can see what under the cracks
Wipe away all the blood that I've bled
Dry all the tears that I've shed
What can I say
Its just another day
Of trying to keep my demons at bay

Crippled
I let you tear me up
Break me down blow by blow
All in the name of love
Because when it all comes down to it "Knicks and bruises are just trophy cups"
Your all I know
All I have
Thats why I'll let you tear my wings
Tug and tear at my heart's strings
Even when you've made my skin black and blue
Like a dog, I still crawl back to you
Even when you never apologize
Even when I know you see the tears in my eyes
And the blood you've spilt and the bones you've broken and
And yet despite all this, a sorry still goes unspoken
And...
Break me down blow by blow

Candyman
Vanilla and cotton candy skies
My body melting in those chocolate eyes
Your lips like ambrosia, Heaven's taste
Your hands strong but gentle, running over my waist
Your body hot and hard against my caramel skin
Your scent familiar with hints of apple and cinnamon
Won't you be the icing on my cake?
Because my cherry is yours to take
My body melting in those chocolate eyes
Your lips like ambrosia, Heaven's taste
Your hands strong but gentle, running over my waist
Your body hot and hard against my caramel skin
Your scent familiar with hints of apple and cinnamon
Won't you be the icing on my cake?
Because my cherry is yours to take

Lust
Tension
The smell of your aftershave still lingering on your skin
Rising
Your eyes tearing into me
Hungry
The taste of your lips mingled with my cherry chapstick
Craving
Your hands slowly drifting up my thighs
Longing
The sound of a moan escaping my lips
Aching
Your desire pressed against me through a few layers of fabric
I want this
Clothes are flying
You need this
Your name on my lips
Take me
The smell of your aftershave still lingering on your skin
Rising
Your eyes tearing into me
Hungry
The taste of your lips mingled with my cherry chapstick
Craving
Your hands slowly drifting up my thighs
Longing
The sound of a moan escaping my lips
Aching
Your desire pressed against me through a few layers of fabric
I want this
Clothes are flying
You need this
Your name on my lips
Take me

Love's Martyr
I can't give you what you give me
Love is not my specialty
A bad tree can't bare good fruit and
Likewise
Your not like other guys
Taking as I am despite my tatters
Handing me your heart on a silver platter
But I can't accept
I should be the last to reject
But a broken girl deserves a lesser man
And how can grasp I something I don't understand?
Why choose me?
You have your choice of flowers in the valley that are lovelier than I
Yet you venture into the thicket to retrieve me
Do my thorns not already burrow deep enough into thee?...
Love is not my specialty
A bad tree can't bare good fruit and
Likewise
Your not like other guys
Taking as I am despite my tatters
Handing me your heart on a silver platter
But I can't accept
I should be the last to reject
But a broken girl deserves a lesser man
And how can grasp I something I don't understand?

Yet you venture into the thicket to retrieve me
Do my thorns not already burrow deep enough into thee?...
