Ghosts of Familiarity
I saw you crying
and felt your torment as your tears slipped wordlessly
The look in your eyes, tells me that you know the extent of your sorrow
Dont fret, dear
The end is near
And that is when you can grasp at the tragedies that destroy you
and throw them in the river,
where they can drown with your memories
hand in hand
these negatives depart
Bound to wander the depths, for all eternity
Torn from the soul they had coveted ,they cling desperately...
Eager for a living being to dominate, to devour
And only if you are foolish enough,

come and take me away
my eyelids grow heavy,
head rush
i feel so damn good
keep passing that shit
im not done toking it
time to take a big ass hit
so high, i could sit on the moon and reach for the stars
while my mind ignores all the troubling thoughts that arise when im sober
because the questions have no answers
and i can not rightfully assume
so off i go, to a state i am most familiar in
close my eyes, and feel the high, take my hand, so we can fly
above the pressures of the world and unwanted influences
take me...

and I am lost
Trapped in a memory of vacant smiles
since the thought of you is never enough
and the time is drawing near, when i begin to fear that the clock is ticking far too slow
when i know that every second that passes, brings me closer to you
now i long for you to hold me in your heart
along with all the other things you hold dear
because the only thing i want to hold is your hand
and it tears and pulls at my mind all day, while your dizzying smile enters my thoughts
and my heart beats faster as my secret desires expose themselves

& i will never wake again.
Let my fantasy overflow and off i go to a world unknown.
Each step unrecorded, every move unplanned.
This journey is brighter than the one i left behind.
Where every path collides and the possibilities are endless..
Shaping dreams into realities, where everything is right.
All thats left is to close my eyes and take flight

the melancholy still lingers on...
as blue as my heart and just as lonely.
it wants me for company, i want it for comfort.
i allowed that seed to grow into a tree,
and the branches arent all gone & the leaves have not yet fallen
DIE
but it stays alive.
digging its root deep into my soul
concealing the sun, bringing no warmth
tricking me, taking me down.
i have been you, it tells me.
i am you, it says.
you are not me. you are not real.
you are a dream that seized control, that kept me low, that never left..

Another obstacle to overcome...
I fear for the future that was never in my grasp
With eyes closed I walk along, knowing that at any moment I might fall
Feel the world dancing away from me as my memories become one
Collapse on the floor and cry until all my sorrows are gone
My emotions overwhelm me and abandonment feels so strong
I am alone and life has just begun

embrace the bottle
I need to drink, I need to forget everything…
I wanna let go of the feelings that bottle up and break me.
I wanna let go of the world and the people in it.
I wanna get away and not have to think about a goddamn thing.
Ill close my eyes and let inebriation take over.
Ill give myself to you silently, I want you to take my all.
I want to lay down and remember the times when everything was right with the universe.
Want to remind myself that true happiness exists somewhere and I shouldn’t give up hope until I find it.
I want to embrace all the memories that are so...

We Follow The White Rabbit ...notreallydrugrelated
I saw you with me…
In a moment not faltered by words or thoughtless actions
Side by side, we chose our path in life
Now you take my hand, as our journey unfolds
And off to the horizon we go
Chasing the happiness that is too hard to find
We wander through the forest, the ecstasy in the breeze
We will walk until we collapse
Til every shred of hope left in us, has diminished

Finally Falling
You can only push a person so close to the edge.
And while im standing on the cliff and looking down at the rocks,
I accept the fate that you have chosen for me.
As i take the final step that will take me down,
I think back on my life and know that what im doing is right.
I let myself go and i'm falling toward the ground
I let gravity take over and i look up at the sky.
Somehow i know that everything will turn out alright..

through the darkness
I am alone
I find myself lost amongst the trees
leaves fall all around me
I am surrounded in darkness
I have no idea where i am
strangely, i find this place very familiar
I dont know what brought me here
I am being drawn to the center of this world
my memories seem to haunt me
they keep telling me what i should be
a few strands of sunshine make their way through this all
I just cant help feeling like im about to fall
I lie down on the earth and let myself go
I wrap my head around all the things i know

One day I opened my eyes.
I awoke from the dream i thought was reality
I had let myself sink into the falseness of my mind and wasnt even aware that it was fake.
I decieve myself again
How can I not see what's right in front of me?
When you slip away from life
You slip away from it all
You are not who you think you are
And you're not what others make you to be
You have become a figment of your imagination
In a world where nothing is real

Where happiness is as unreachable as your future

road to nowhere
Remember back when we were young.
We had everything we wanted.
We were so loved...
And then we became more aware
We started to learn
We started to expect.
And then we started to lose faith and hope
We started changing, just like everything else
We realized that we dont have everything
And nothing is ever enough
We started trying to find ourselves
And got lost along the way
We took the wrong path and suffered.
We make the most of what we have although it isnt much.
We try to plant this false happiness within ourselves,
but we know...
