POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
freedom
I am free
Because I choose to be
I broke away and cried out
I made myself believe that there was no doubt
I told myself its OK, patted myself on the back
Even when the world started to go black
I stood up and walked through the flames
No more will I blame
Stepping on glass and tip toeing up towards the sky
Finally, all I ever wanted was to fly
Because I choose to be
I broke away and cried out
I made myself believe that there was no doubt
I told myself its OK, patted myself on the back
Even when the world started to go black
I stood up and walked through the flames
No more will I blame
Stepping on glass and tip toeing up towards the sky
Finally, all I ever wanted was to fly

no no no
No one hears my voice
They all act like it was my choice
Can a child really give consent
No, and for this I resent
You sit and stare like I'm a whore
But no, my dear I'm dead at the core
My innocence was stolen
Now my heart is bleeding and swollen
You want to blame me
But no, no, no I scream
They all act like it was my choice
Can a child really give consent
No, and for this I resent
You sit and stare like I'm a whore
But no, my dear I'm dead at the core
My innocence was stolen
Now my heart is bleeding and swollen
You want to blame me
But no, no, no I scream

get over it..
Get over it, get over it you say
How about get over yourself and let me be
You didn't feel his eerie touch
You don't see his face every time you close your eyes
I did, I do
Get over it, get over it you say
Keep your remarks to yourself
Because you don't understand these scars
You don't know this hurt
Well I'll get over it one day
The day he takes his last breath
How about get over yourself and let me be
You didn't feel his eerie touch
You don't see his face every time you close your eyes
I did, I do
Get over it, get over it you say
Keep your remarks to yourself
Because you don't understand these scars
You don't know this hurt
Well I'll get over it one day
The day he takes his last breath

All these words rambling through my head
Life in general is starting to feel dead
People keep dying and hopes being lost
All lines are being crossed
The worlds falling through our fingers
And the voices of the lost lingers
Love and hate have became the same
All alone and screaming out of shame
Death is being chosen instead of this place
Should all this be so hard to face
Everyone ignores the truth of tha matter
Only worried about reaching the top of their ladder
Life in general is starting to feel dead
People keep dying and hopes being lost
All lines are being crossed
The worlds falling through our fingers
And the voices of the lost lingers
Love and hate have became the same
All alone and screaming out of shame
Death is being chosen instead of this place
Should all this be so hard to face
Everyone ignores the truth of tha matter
Only worried about reaching the top of their ladder

words
Hateful words flow from your mouth
Like a song
The melody brings tears to my eyes
And the rhythm stabs me in the back
Like a song
The melody brings tears to my eyes
And the rhythm stabs me in the back

choke
Stumbling across the wall
Falling over and over again continuously
Your words slide and slip
Like your unplanted feet
Shaking and stuttering unwillingly
And yet keeping your cool
You say you did nothing wrong
As you trip again
Flipping backwards into your past
You sink
You sink deeper into your own pity
Self pity is a disease made for the ungrateful
So don't swallow that next pill
Just choke on your next breath
Falling over and over again continuously
Your words slide and slip
Like your unplanted feet
Shaking and stuttering unwillingly
And yet keeping your cool
You say you did nothing wrong
As you trip again
Flipping backwards into your past
You sink
You sink deeper into your own pity
Self pity is a disease made for the ungrateful
So don't swallow that next pill
Just choke on your next breath
