Ice Cream
As I walked home from school, I couldn’t help but grin with joy, at the A+ I had gotten on my addition test. I had gotten the best grade in my 1st grade class. Mama will be so excited to hear about this, I thought. I was about halfway home when I noticed a car had driven up next to me on the road. The window went down and I saw that it was Mr. McGregor. He was an older fellow, but he was the nicest man in the neighborhood. He always said hello to people when he was walking around in the neighborhood, and was generally just very nice. “Hello Samantha, your mom told me to bring you home today,”...

Woman Lover
Have you ever talked to a woman before?
A woman can give you love, happiness, and even more.
But in the past, women were seen as the lesser gender,
But that’s just not right, and I want to be the gap mender.
Women deserve lots of love and attention,
They deserve lots of hugs and other things I should mention.
A woman is courageous, a woman is bold,
Someone to talk to, someone to hold.
And if you meet one, you love more than the others,
Love them like you would love a sister or brother.
They need lots of cuddling...

Mechanical Bird
Look at the plane, as it glides above in sky
Circling and swooping, it isn’t shy
It goes up and back in big loops
Going straight down through big cloud hoops
Spinning in circles, he does many a trick
He speeds up his plane and he goes quite quick
He is as a graceful as a dove
Up there in the sky high above
He felt so free, up there in his plane
He could feel on his roof, the patter of rain
In his plane, he felt a different kind of happiness
A kind he could not feel on the ground
Then he became...
