Atoms
There’s a 1 in an 8 billion chance,
That if you stick your hand in the wall,
You’ll go between atoms and your hand will go right through
I used to think that was a huge number,
An impossible chance
Until I reached for you to stay,
And you kept walking,
My hand fades through yours.

I want more than to exist
I want to become the grass I lay in,
To feel the blades pierce my skin and grow into my soul
To see beyond the visible
To feel beyond what is existence
To be infinite

I would live for you,
spend every breath I breathe praising your name,
all of my devotion kneeling at your altar,
begging for salvation,
Saying I will die for you is too little a praise,
For dying is once,
and I shall be yours forever.
