Arriving
Gone so long
running on pure steam
taking care of necessities
hadn't noticed my gait has changed
Taking care of others
looking out for their best interest
Caring about THEIR feelings...
When did I lose that tail?
Running around deliriously
Taking it for the team
losing myself in the rigmarole of life
those downy, ugly feathers have fallen off of me
When I did finally, totally slow down to reflect,this magnificent
regal, majestic creature was left
with a force that invited a reckoning
power unparalleled
refusing to...

Ummm Hmmm.....
Yeah...I smelled that fragrance
a little before I fully came
through the door
Ummm hmmmm....
Somethings in the air.....dangerous...
temptation....yeah, you lovin' this.
Sandlewood....myrrh. ..woody but musky...
masculine...

10 second glance...big broad shoulders...
broad on a tall...dark...frame...
dammit
that matte chocolate skin
yes....tasted it a thousand times in my mind

peace with death/death with peace
The Sun never shined so bright...
This...high canary yellow
pollen floating through the air
the air....
Oh the air....light
cool...warm...
caressing the skin..my skin
making the trees bow...sway slow...
right...left...right...left
a mist out of nowhere
don't care
Holographic particles flicker across
my view...and this...this
hummingbird slowly flapping next to
the parade roses.
Vibrant reds...pinks
Something's clinically wrong...but feels
feels so right spiritually
Smell water. ..sweet water......

I see you're up early this morning
you wanna talk to me
yeah you wanna talk to me
Peaking through the sheets
with that one eye
yeah baby talk to me
yeah you wanna talk to me
The rest of you is lax
but your best is at attention
I peeped the naughty gaze
getting "randy" not to mention
how you've "unsheathed"the "sword"
(you wanna stab me?)

You like the way I nibble around the subject

Letting Go....
That familiar gaze into nowhere...
The silence....
Yeah, I know....
Won't be long now...
'Til you're letting go
The fake laughter...
To a forced joke...
A fake concern
to a painful choke
Hard to come home
to a place you don't really
call home
That house in that area
Yeah..I know
Won't be long
'Til you're letting go
The distance between us
isn't much....
You sit beside me
yet....feel so far away
Crying inside. ..I want to beg you to
stay
It's stuck inside...you can't hear me ...
